Tweedy – “Low Key”
Father/son team Tweedy have been steadily releasing tracks since the project was first announced — so far, we’ve heard “I’ll Sing It,” “Summer Noon,” “Wait For Love,” “Diamond Light Pt. 1,” “Fake Fur Coat,” and some live debuts. And here’s another semi-new one for you. It’s the studio version of “Low Key”, which Tweedy played at a show last month, and as the title hints, it’s a relatively low-key and laid-back affair. It features some restrained drumming from Spencer Tweedy and a few pleasant “ooh-oohs” from Lucius’ Holly Laesig and Jess Wolfe. Listen below.
Sukierae is out 9/16 on Wilco’s dBpm label.
