Tei Shi is a Brooklyn-based bedroom-pop type with roots in both Canada and Colombia, and last year, she self-released her Saudade album; we posted her track "Nature Vs. Nurture." She's now recorded her own version of "No Angel," the song from Beyoncé's self-titled album that Chairlift's Caroline Polachek co-wrote. In her cover, Tei Shi keeps the song's lovesick drift intact but adds all these trickly little bloop-pop flourishes. Listen to her version below.
