Seattle punk trio FF has mostly existed in DIY obscurity until now, but they recently signed to Couple Skate, part of Captured Tracks’ new label group Omnian. Debut album Lord is coming this fall, and its lead single “Caught In A Dream” is a crystalline black rager. This thing is fast, heavy, and sneakily melodic — i.e. it sounds like something you might’ve heard out of the Pacific Northwest 20-30 years ago, like Nirvana having a Sonic Youth fever dream.
