Gold Panda – “Clarke’s Dream”
The tough-to-categorize British producer Gold Panda released his sophomore album Half Of Where You Live just last year, but he’s already working on a follow-up. And in the process, he’s made a one-off track called “Clarke’s Dream.” The track thumps harder that Gold Panda’s usually-diffuse tracks, and it’s also funkier, riding an almost-house drum track and looping a slow-rolling bassline and a humid horn riff off into the sunset. Some rapper needs to grab this track in a hurry, but it sounds pretty great on its own, as well. Listen to the track below.
Can you imagine a whole album like this? It’s is an exciting prospect.
