Watch Jeezy & Future Dedicate “No Tears” To Joan Rivers On The Tonight Show
Joan Rivers was a frequent guest on The Tonight Show, going all the way back to the mid-’60s Jack Paar era, and so the show obviously had to pay her tribute on the night she died. But I’m pretty sure nobody expected that tribute would take the form of Jeezy telling the crowd to put one hand in the air for Joan Rivers. The Atlanta rapper was booked on the show anyway, though, and he was already set to perform the emotional “No Tears” with Future and the Roots, so why not? “No Tears” is about fake friends, not mourning the dead, but emotion is emotion. I’d also like to imagine that Future’s (amazing) outfit is some kind of Joan Rivers tribute. Watch the video below.
Jeezy’s new album Seen It All is out now on Def Jam.
