White Laces – “Nothing Clicks”
Back when we premiered “Skate Or Die” by Richmond rockers White Laces, they were still in search of a label. Since then they’ve linked up with Happenin’, who’ll release the new White Laces album Trance next month. Their latest preview from the album, “Nothing Clicks,” is a reminder that these guys opened for the War On Drugs earlier this year; the song evokes a similar bleary nostalgia for the Traveling Wilburys era, though it’s closer to a post-punk/new wave thing than the art-damaged Don Henleyisms band bud Adam Granduciel has been kicking out lately. Let “Nothing Clicks” wash over you below.
