Toronto producer Swim Good has proven his adept touch with patchwork indie rock and uptempo dance music alike. “Saturday,” his partnership with RLMDL, combines those impulses. It’s a garage- and dubstep-inflected house cut that exists in the same galaxy as Disclosure but floats in far more ethereal directions, matching its skittering rhythm with moody pop impulses worthy of Damon Albarn or Aidan Moffat. Former Avalanches member Darren Seltmann mixed the track, which you can hear below.
