Comedy Bang! Bang!, the comedy podcast that became an IFC TV show, has always been a hub of the indie comedy universe, and that’s always had plenty of overlap with the indie rock universe. But even with that in mind, the slate of musical guests for the show’s upcoming third season is pretty impressive. As Pitchfork points out, the show’s coming season will feature appearances from the National, the Flaming Lips, Future Islands, and punk rock veterans the Vandals. Comedy-music types like “Weird Al” Yankovic and the Lonely Island will also show up, and comedian Reggie Watts will continue to serve as the show’s bandleader.
