Drake – “Worst Behavior (SAINT PEPSI Edit)”
The first time I heard “Pineapple Juniors” in the very beginning of 2013, it was crystal clear that Ryan DeRobertis gave zero fucks about what people expected, even when he was starting from the bottom. It’s that same spirit that allowed SAINT PEPSI to become a rising star, whether twisting a Carly Rae Jepsen song or paying a loving tribute to American Football well before that band reunited. DeRobertis’ breakthrough single this year was a love letter to a character from Degrassi, released on the same label home of Beach House, Cloud Nothings, and Dan Deacon (pretty impressive he’s already there, considering that less than a year ago he was simply dropping free songs on Soundcloud). Now SAINT PEPSI has paid tribute to another artist who rose to colossal heights on the policy of giving zero fucks (and knows a thing or two about Degrassi, too). Below you will find Drake’s “Worst Behavior,” one of his toughest, fiercest songs, completely reformatted for a bright disco party. Now if only we could get them in the studio together.
