At this point, I have to imagine that most bands’ backstage warm-up routines, before coming onstage, involve talking to little kids and their cameraphone-wielding parents. We see so many of these things! They are simultaneously awkward and sweet, and sometimes they’re more revealing than the interviews these bands give to grown-ups. This kid being able to name all the Spice Girls is like if I knew the names of all the members of the Dave Clark Five at her age. Impressive and baffling!
