Last night, the Foo Fighters performed at a small venue in Chicago called Cubby Bear to celebrate the premiere of their HBO series, Sonic Highways. Dave Grohl told the audience that Cubby Bear was the place that he saw his first concert, which was a Naked Raygun show in 1983. He then proceeded to bring out Naked Raygun frontman Jeff Pezzati to perform their song “Surf Combat,” which Grohl said was the first punk rock single he had ever owned in his life. Watch below.
