Tool fans have been waiting a long time for a fifth album — eight years, to be exact, since the 2006 release of 10,000 Days — and earlier this year we learned that a mess of lawsuits was holding up the process. Now it seems they’re finally forging ahead. CoS points out that guitarist Adam Jones posted a studio photo (that’s it up above) on Instagram with the hashtag #SmokeOnTheHorizon. Given Tool’s track record, it might not be wise to get your hopes up for a 2015 release, but this is certainly a promising sign.
