Brooklyn Bowl's Saturday CMJ showcase was a stacked lineup of exciting bands. The biggest name was DJ Dodger Stadium, who released the fantastic album Friend Of Mine earlier this year. As Tom explained in his review, that album worked as dance music, but also hit with a strong emotional quality. The entire showcase carried that spirit, though, with performances by Blue Hawaii, Adult Jazz, and more. The night ended with a special guest appearance from legendary DJ Jonathan Toubin.
