Mike Kinsella has been releasing some solid covers under his Owen moniker over the past few months, taking on some interesting choices like Against Me! and the Smoking Popes. They're all part of his upcoming covers album, Other People's Songs, and the next track he's shared from the record is his take on Milwaukee emo legends the Promise Ring. His version of "Forget Me," from the band's 1997 album Nothing Feels Good," is a softly strummed and reflective piece that borders on country at some points.
