During a Twitter Q&A a few days ago, Flying Lotus mentioned offhandedly that he was working on writing a movie. It was in response to a question as to whether he would make more music under his Captain Murphy moniker ("probably"), so it seems he was just eager to get the news out there. As FACT points out, Flying Lotus is no stranger to film: he's worked on a number of short films in the past few years. And if his delightful (and often disturbing) music videos are any indication, FlyLo has got a lot of interesting concepts rattling around in his head.
