Thurston Moore and drummer John Moloney record improvised noise freakouts together under the name Caught On Tape. After releasing three records of untitled, amorphous extended jams, their upcoming album Full Bleed is a bit of a departure, featuring actual song titles and actual song-length songs. As the characteristically cheery Moore declared to Rolling Stone, “We titled them to identify them as distinct ‘songs’ because that is what they need to be to survive in this fucked landscape of politician dung patrol.” The title track is a slow, heavy duet between Moore’s sludgy riffs and Moloney’s percussion.
