Dutch Uncles – “Drips”
In a few short weeks, the Manchester quintet Dutch Uncles will unleash O Shudder, their latest album of nervous, squiggling art-pop, up on the world. We’ve already heard the early tracks “In N Out” and “Decided Knowledge,” and now the band has shared “Drips.” The new song has some seriously busy woodwinds and a guitar line that sounds like a snake squirming inside your brain. There’s some real beauty in the song, too, but it’s remarkable how these handsome gentlemen can make a piece of music sound this uneasy. Listen to it below.
O Shudder is out 2/23 on Memphis Industries.
