Jet Setter – “Forget About It”
I was entranced by Dublin rock band Jet Setter’s “Not Yet,” an uptempo track that reminded me of Britpop and the Strokes-era “new rock revolution” in equal measure — just the good parts, though. “Forget About It,” from the group’s upcoming debut EP, exists in that same zone. It’s a classic rock rave-up delivered with a pinch of punk aggression, its piano-plinking swagger carrying a strong whiff of Supergrass. The guitar work is magnificent too, especially during the moody outro. Listen below.
Jet Setter’s EP is out 4/13 on Any Other City.
