Scott McCaughey's pop-rock collective The Minus 5 will return with a new album called Dungeon Golds next month. Longtime collaborators Peter Buck and Jeff Tweedy appear multiple times on the album, including the dual-guitar attack they unspool on "The History You Hate." It's a punchy, distortion-drenched rock song sweetened by a power-pop melody, and it might give Wilco fans visions of the A.M./Being There era. Take a spin through the song below.
