Body Language returned a few weeks ago with the frenetic, aching rage of “Really Love,” a song that was more of a burning wound than anything else. So it seemed like Brooklyn group were coming back guns blazing until the B-side to “Really Love” dropped today, and “Reset” is like a cooling salve. It’s a squishy, woozy bit of regret, for those moments when the anger drains out of you and all that’s left is empty nostalgia. Together, the pair of tracks are a cathartic force of choppy, dark R&B that excavates the way love fails and breaks us. Just in time for post-Valentines blues, right? Listen below.
