I know a lot of people hate the "heartwarming" episodes of 30 Rock, like last night's and the Christmas episode, but they have to balance out the (for lack of a better word) snark from time to time, and you can't really complain about an episode that included Tracy Jordan calling Liz a "dumb bitch" AND Liz's revelation that her boyfriend Drew (the unseen but still around Jon Hamm!) took an "adult picture" of her "boobies" as a joke. And (spoiler) Salma Hayek seems, for now, to have handed Jack his comedy-balls back and left the country.
As always, the entire episode is on Hulu and the Tracy Jordan and Alec Baldwin subplots were hilarious, but Liz coming clean to Kenneth about why she needs to get her phone back (not because her grandmother sang a song on it on Liz's birthday and then died), is my favorite ("You can't handle the truth!" will NEVER get old.):
Also, Jack's "Jalisa" tshirt was a blink-and-you'll miss it joke, so here that is: Jalisa!:
Best line of the show: a videotaped message from GE chief Don Geiss:
"If you're watching this, you are an executive of the General Electric Corporation, and the unthinkable has happened. Capitalism is ending, either because of the Soviets or something ridiculous, like a woman President. I'm speaking to you from the year 1987, but the message is timeless: Avoid The Noid!"
Which reminds me: bring back Cathy Geiss!
