Brandon Flowers Announces New Solo LP The Desired Effect, Produced By Ariel Rechtshaid
In a hand-written note on his website, Brandon Flowers has revealed that his sophomore album will be called The Desired Effect, and that it will be out on May 18th. As previously reported, the record was made with super-producer Ariel Rechtshaid. “Ariel and I have been collaborating in the studio, working twogether [sic] in the spirit of conversation, contention, and at long last, sweet contrition,” Flowers wrote. “No one has yet seen or heard the change. But soon, we all will.” The Killers frontman put out his last solo album, Flamingo, in 2010. Watch a short teaser video for the new record below.
