2014 was an impressive year for the New Orleans-based Community Records. The independent label released Caddywhompus' Feathering A Nest, a four-way split between Ovlov, Woozy, Ex-Breathers, and Gnarwhal, and a 7" by Designer. None of these are big name bands, but they're big enough to attract attention and deem Community as a label to look out for this year. The Houston-based band Pope's full-length, Fiction, is Community's latest release, and we premiered the record's excellent second track "Let It Down" at the beginning of this year. Stream the album below a week premature of its release date.
