Wire have almost certainly been cranking out sparse, sharp, merciless postpunk for longer than you, the person reading this, have been alive. And their ability to continue wrecking nearly 40 years into their career is an absolute marvel. The band has a new self-titled album coming out next month, and we've already heard first single "Joust & Jostle." They've now shared "Split The Ends," a track that incorporates krautrock rhythms and synth-hums without losing its white-knuckle edge. Listen to it below.
