London producer Mike Greene's hazy, atmospheric album Insides as Fort Romeau is out today. We've heard a few of the cuts already: the title track, "Not A Word" featuring Dublin producer New Jackson on vocals, and the pulsing, eight-minute "All I Want." Listening to the full album in one cohesive moment is essential for understanding the way Greene moves through highs and lows, marrying old analogue influences with of-the-moment production. There's no need for vocals when his Chicago-indebted production style tells a story just as cleanly and clearly, never muddying the narrative with needless words. Listen below.
