Watch WATERS Make Their Energetic Late-Night TV Debut On Conan
The former Port O’Brien frontman Van Pierszalowski now leads the California power-pop band WATERS, and their new album What’s Real is set to drop next week. Last night, the band made their late-night TV debut on Conan, and the last time I saw a group of human beings who looked this ’90s, it may have been the actual 1990s. Nevertheless, it was a sprightly and energetic and generally charming performance. They sang the hell out of the What’s Real song “Got To My Head,” and the covered the stage with flowers, the way Girls used to do, which was a nice touch. Watch the performance below.
What’s Real is out 4/7 on Vagrant.
