Paul McCartney's 1980 synth bugout "Temporary Secretary" has long been regarded as one of the weirdest and possibly best songs of the man's solo career. And as an appropriately random one-off, the UK electronic pop trio Darkstar has teamed up with Wild Beasts frontman Hayden Thorpe to record their own version of the song. In Darkstar's hands, it's a considerably smoother song, but it still has that fascinatingly off-kilter structure working for it. Listen to it below.
