Suge Knight Hospitalized Again After Judge Rules He Must Face Murder Charge
Back in February, former rap mogul Suge Knight was charged with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder, and two counts of hit-and-run by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after he allegedly ran over and killed Terry Carter and injured Cle “Bone” Sloan. Knight’s lawyer claimed that the defendant was attempting to escape an ambush when he hit the two men in January. Sloan claimed that he had attacked Knight prior to getting run over during his testimony, but did not want to divulge further details lest he be considered a snitch. The judge threw out one of the hit-and-run counts, reduced Knight’s bail from $25 to $10 million, and then ordered that Knight stand trial for murder. Knight pleaded not guilty. It’s now being reported that Knight was taken to the hospital from the courthouse after the judge’s ruling for what’s been labeled a “medical emergency.” Knight has collapsed multiple times in court since the trial began for undisclosed health complications. Last week, he claimed to have been brought into court in a wheelchair against his will, which his lawyer compared to Hannibal Lecter’s condition in the famous closing scenes of Silence Of The Lambs, according to USA Today. The judge then told Knight that he did not need to use the wheelchair if he was able to walk on his own.
