McCluskey, Kroehler, Antonoff, Dost – “A Million Stars”
Former fun. member Andrew Dost scored the soundtrack for The D Train, a new movie starring Jack Black and Josh Harnett that trades in on the ’80s nostalgia that’s still so popular. Most of the work Dost did was on the scoring side of things, but he did create one original pop track for the movie, which proudly rips off Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark’s ’80s standard “If You Leave.” He even got OMD frontman Andy McCluskey to lend his vocals to it. The song also features his bandmate Jack Antonoff and friend Robert Kroehler. Hence, the drawn out name McCluskey, Kroehler, Antonoff, Dost. The track is called “A Million Stars,” and you can listen below.
