YG was shot three times in the hip last night around 1:45AM at a recording studio in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. The rapper was then driven by a friend to a nearby hospital. Police found shell casings and blood at the scene and, when they went to go question YG at the hospital, he was reportedly “very uncooperative.” YG’s condition is currently unknown, and no suspect for the shooting has been named.

UPDATE: YG’s shooter remains at large, but as XXL reports, the recording studio’s security cameras may have caught the incident on tape. The LAPD have already requested the video and should be able to examine it within a day or two. Fortunately, according to a tweet from hip-hop media maven Karen Civil and an Instagram from DJ Mustard, YG is ok.
