Calvin Johnson Is Auctioning Off His Used “Punk” Jeans
K Records and Beat Happening founder Calvin Johnson is auctioning off two pairs of his old “’80s Punk” jeans on eBay, which the listings say he wore “to punk shows in Olympia, Portland, Tacoma, Seattle, New York, Washington DC, Tokyo, and around the world.” Both pairs are, of course, “Thoroughly holy in the front, back, and knees.” The Levi’s 505s and 501s are currently going for $20.50 and $51.00, respectively, so if you’re a 30 waist/32 inseam and looking for some fairly reasonably priced pants full of holes that were worn by a true ’80s punk, it looks like this is your lucky day! Check out your potential purchases below, and thanks to Pitchfork for the heads up.
