Brooklyn-based Boytoy remind me of Speedy Ortiz’s noise-pop aesthetic, but with a fast-paced ’90s pop-punk twist. Last year we premiered their sugary-sweet “Visits” video, a lawn-dancing romance. Now Noisey tells us the skate rock trio’s debut full-length Grackle will be released this fall. Lead single “Postal” just asks for jumping crowds — the drums are loud and raucous and the guitars slay. Listen.
