Former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty is one of the all-time great classic rock howlers. His particular gift, however, does not seem like the sort of thing that would necessarily translate to the medium of reality television. So it’ll be fascinating to see what happens when Fogerty joins the cast of NBC’s ridiculously popular singing-competition show The Voice. Yesterday, Maroon 5’s Twitter broke the news that Fogerty would join Adam Levine’s team as an Advisor on the coming season of the show. Basically, then, he’ll coach singing hopefuls in how they should approach their duties on the show. I hope he tells them to yell more.
