Jordy Asher, the once-mysterious Beyoncé collaborator who goes by the name Boots, is having a big year. He released his Motorcycle Jesus short film and soundtrack, and he also worked on FKA twigs’ M3LL155X EP. And now, on the title track from his forthcoming album AQUARIA, he’s teamed up with Angel Deradoorian, the former Dirty Projector who releases her own solo album The Expanding Flower Planet tomorrow. The track is a seething, panting genre-free number that includes Boots sort-of rapping and Deradoorian riding a dark Depeche Mode groove. Check it out below.
