Watch Lorde’s Surprise Appearance Onstage With Flume At FYF
Lorde is starting to get a reputation for the way she supports other artists, and last night at FYF Fest in LA she decided to join Australian dance-pop producer Flume (aka Harley Edward Streten) on stage. He played a remix of her Pure Heroine track “Tennis Courts” and they danced together behind the boards. In her caption for the video posted on Instagram, Lorde explains that it was pretty much a split-second decision:
i had never seen harley play live before so i went down to fyf tonight to watch his set, and basically he played his awesome tennis court remix and i kinda got peer pressured into sneaking up onstage and surprising him for a dance party in front of 20,000 people lol. he had no idea it was happening, i decided to go up literally 20 seconds before i did. and it was FUN being onstage at a festival again having a silly dance!! here’s to cool friends and funny surprises. luv u harley 💕 @flumemusic
