The lo-fi singer-songwriter Alex G is only 22, but he’s already getting ready to release his seventh album Beach Music. He’s not in the video for first single “Bug.” Instead, Micah Van Hove directs a story about a photogenically scuzzy young couple who spend a stoned, romantic afternoon in the sunshine. There’s nothing revolutionary about the clip, but it’s a fine example of the “damn, I wish I was there” school of music video. Watch it below.
