Stream Low Ones And Sixes
Low, the legendary trio from Minnesota, have been making swoony, reverb-heavy music for a very long time, and they’re still finding ways to make it vital. The band recorded Ones And Sixes, their newest album, at Justin Vernon’s April Base studio in Wisconsin, and it sparkles in a way that no previous Low record ever has. It’s a slight tweak to the band’s sound, but when a band has been around as long as Low, slight tweaks are important. We’ve posted the early tracks “No Comprende,” “What Part Of Me,” and “Lies,” as well as this big feature on the band. And now, a week away from when the album arrives, NPR has posted a stream of the entire album. Listen to it below.
Ones And Sixes is out 9/11 on Sub Pop.
