Isaiah Rashad – “Nelly”
A couple of years ago, the Chattanooga, Tennessee rapper Isaiah Rashad joined the TDE record label and released the impressive, introspective album Cilvia Demos. He’s been pretty quiet since then, but there’s apparently a new album ready to go. And last night, he shared a new track called “Nelly.” It’s a slow, funereal track on which Rashad drowns in old memories, and it carries absolutely zero influence from the St. Lunatic of the title. Listen to it below.
No word on when we’ll get a new Isaiah Rashad album, and if the whole Jay Rock experience was any indication, we shouldn’t hold our collective breath.
