During Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 2 runway show a couple of weeks ago, he debuted “Fade,” another new song from the ever-elusive SWISH. The last we heard about a release date, though, was basically the verbal equivalent of a shrug. Still, there is some hope for new Kanye material: NBC reports that West will attend a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in San Francisco on 10/10, where he’s expected to perform songs from SWISH. (That could just mean the songs we’ve already heard, but still, that’d be something). President Obama will also be there, and the afternoon concert will be hosted at the 2300-seat venue the Warfield, with tickets reportedly selling for $250 to $10,000 each. At the very least, maybe we’ll get to hear some more about Kanye’s probably-joking 2020 presidential campaign.
