Hear A 14-Year-Old Miguel Sing On Unearthed Track “U R On My Mind”

Yesterday was Miguel's 30th birthday, and last night, the singer decided to share a never-before-released track that he recorded in the fall of 1999, when he was just 14 years old. It's called "U R On My Mind," and it features an opening verse from LA rapper Blu and production by Anthony Williams. Obviously, it's no "Adorn" or "Coffee," but it's still pretty good -- his voice sounded smooth as hell even then -- and it's definitely way the fuck better than anything I was doing when I was 14. As Pitchfork points out, he uploaded the song to SoundCloud along with a photo of himself dressed as a cowboy from Halloween 2007, and you can hear it below.
