Last night a woman jumped overboard from the cruise ship hosting Mad Decent Boat Party, the high seas version of Diplo’s Mad Decent Block Party touring festival. Now TMZ reports that the ship, which was on its way to Cozumel, has turned around and is headed back to port in Miami. Per the captain’s announcement, they’re turning around because they can’t make it to all their stops in time, presumably because of the time spent searching for the woman who jumped. All DJ sets were canceled in the aftermath of the apparent suicide, but Major Lazer and Dillon Francis, who were supposed to perform on the beach, are expected to play onboard during the return trip to Miami.
