Adele Sings “When We Were Young” For 60 Minutes Australia, Interviews Tobias Jesso Jr. For The Guardian
Adele’s sure-to-be-a-monster album 25 comes out on Friday, but up until now, the only album track we’ve heard is the already-huge single “Hello.” But Adele recently sat down with 60 Minutes Australia for an interview, and as part of the show, she also sang “When We Were Young,” the album track that she co-wrote with young singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr., live in a studio. In the preview below, we hear a pretty decent chunk of that song, and based on what’s there, it sounds like another absolute barnstormer. And speaking of Adele and Jesso, she recently interviewed him for The Guardian. In the article, the two of them talk about their favorite music in various different situations, and they say a lot of nice things about each other.
