This year, there were two prominent rappers who went out of their way to challenge Drake’s dominance. One was Meek Mill, whose feud with Drake has been well-covered already. The other was Sauce Walka, one half of the rising Houston duo Sauce Twinz, who unleashed the absolutely scathing diss track “Wack 2 Wack,” which Drake has yet to answer. Now Meek and the Sauce Twinz have teamed up on a new track called “Winnin.” It never explicitly addresses Drake, and it’s not really a diss track. Instead, it’s a frantic, energetic banger about being awesome. You can tell everyone involved was thinking about Drake, and the use of the owl from the old Tootsie Pop commercial in the (ass-ugly) cover art is all the tip-off you should need.
