Watch Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, & Amy Schumer Parody Taylor Swift’s Squad On SNL
Just a couple months after showing us a vision of a post-apocalyptic future where everyone has joined Taylor Swift’s squad, Saturday Night Live has poked fun at the #squad phenomenon from a different angle. Right as Swift premiered her Apple Music-exclusive 1989 World Tour Live special, last night’s SNL hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler starred in the “Dope Squad” sketch, which starts out as an interview with Aidy Bryant before launching into a parody of the dystopian “Bad Blood” music video. Instead of models and starlets, their squad includes their nannies, their gynecologist (they share a gynecologist), the woman at the diner who always knows their order, Gayle King, Robert Downey Sr., and Amy Schumer (who’s only there because she owes Tina Fey a favor and also thinks it’s a “charity thing”). Aidy Bryant also pops in for a Kendrick-style rap verse. Watch below.
