Saturday Night Live just announced that Chris Stapleton and Selena Gomez will be the show's first musical guests of 2016. Adam Driver will host Stapleton's appearance on 1/16, and Ronda Rousey will do the same for Gomez a week later on 1/23. Both Gomez and Stapleton are SNL first-timers, and last year Chris predicted that Gomez would be a suitable choice for a musical guest in the show's 41st season. Stapleton, on the other hand, was a breakout act in 2015, so it makes perfect sense that he'll grace the coveted SNL stage in the new year.
