Before he began to release music under his own name, Spencer Radcliffe put out a number of albums and ephemera as Blithe Field, mostly consisting of ambient field recordings and more abstract audio manipulations. He's returning to his old moniker for a new collection, Face Always Towards The Sun, which will be released via Orchid Tapes at the end of the week. "Jimbo" is the album's introductory single and comes attached to a video directed by Brennan Zwieg -- terse buzzing gives way to a smattering of blips and chimes and muted static, which give off a calming and comforting mood.
