Emilie & Ogden – “Ten Thousand” Video

Emilie and Ogden Ten Thousand

Emilie and Ogden Ten Thousand

When an artist names their instrument it's a safe bet that they can play the shit out of it. Not only did Emilie Kahn name her harp Ogden, she credits it as half of a duo. So you already know she gets down on it. The Montreal harpist/singer-songwriter and her trusty sidekick make some truly beautiful, whimsical music together. This past summer Kahn shared "Ten Thousand" from her excellent album of the same name. Now, via Baeble, Kahn gives that track the visual treatment, and it is stunning as well. A couple's romantic getaway quickly turns abysmal as the woman suddenly becomes blind with an awesome CGI'd glaze over of her pupils. But her beau is the perfect companion, reading to her, making her tea, and guiding her through some picturesque woods to engage her other senses. Once she regains her sight the clip switches to black-and-white, indicating that though she has her sight, her experiences are much more humdrum. Beautiful video for a gorgeous song.
