Kanye West – “Black Skinhead (Remix)” (Feat. Miley Cyrus & Travis Scott)
Back in 2013, the same night she famously twerked on Robin Thicke at the VMAs, Miley Cyrus reportedly skipped every VMA afterparty, including her own. She had work to do. She and Kanye West reportedly hit the studio to work on a remix of Kanye’s then-current track “Black Skinhead.” This was for a West remix EP that was set to come out later in 2013. The EP never came out, and the remix never saw the light of day. But with Swish looming, the remix has now mysteriously shown up online, via Popology Now. If you were wondering what in the hell Miley Cyrus would do on a “Black Skinhead” remix, you now have your answer: She would sing Tears For Fears’ “Everybody Wants To Rule The World.” That’s a pretty strange choice! It’s still undeniably better than if she’d rapped on it! The remix also features Travis Scott, and it is a fascinating pileup. Listen to it here.
I can understand why Kanye never released that! It’s pretty bad!
