Rick Ross & Drake – “Empire”
Lately, things have not been cool between Drake and Rick Ross, presumably because Drake and Ross’ protege Meek Mill went at it last year. (Ross went after Drake on the late-2015 track “Color Money“; Drake has yet to respond.) But not too long ago, Drake and Ross recorded a ton of tracks together, and they even talked about teaming up on a collaborative mixtape. That never happened, but apparently, they left some collaborations in the vault. One such collab is “Empire,” which is now seeing the light of day thanks to the production team J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, as Miss Info points out. It sounds a whole lot more like a Ross track than a Drake one, and I can’t imagine Drake putting his name on something like it nowadays, but Drake still sounds pretty good on it. Check it out below.
