Seattle electronic duo Crater urge everyone to stop being so damn apathetic on the latest single from their full-length debut Talk To Me So I Can Fall Asleep, “Summer Skin.” (No relation beyond a faintly similar stop-start flow to the more well-known song with the same title.) “You can have it if you want it, if you need it, if you want it,” the urge as they encourage you to shed your slacker attitudes. “The apathy and general malaise we witness on the reg from kids our age and even experience ourselves can be so maddening that we decided to write a song about,” the duo told Nylon of the track. “Summer Skin” follows “Habits Die Slow” and “Hardly At All” as another promising single from Crater’s debut — listen below.
